ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Simo Cocco, hiking guide, freelance photographer specialized in travel and outdoor photography and certified drone pilot (APR CRO).
I started traveling to faraway countries and cultures at 18 and since then I have not been able to stop doing it. After many years of working in important marketing companies, in 2018 a great opportunity occurred: the closure of the company, the dismissal and my 4-month solo trip to South America. When I returned to Italy I decided to change my life and to transform my passions - mountains, travel and photography - into my new job: so far I have visited more than 35 countries and known almost all of Central and South America, but that one continues to be the most fascinating journey I have ever undertaken!

Amo la montagna sin da quando ne ho memoria e ho iniziato a viaggiare in paesi e culture molto lontane a 18 anni. Ad oggi ho visitato più di 35 paesi e conosciuto quasi tutta l’America Centrale e Meridionale, ho percorso alcuni dei trekking più belli al Mondo: Torres del Paine, Cordillera Huayhuash, i Tre passi dell'Everest, il Circuito dell'Annapurna. Ma il viaggio più affascinante che abbia intrapreso è iniziato nel 2018, anno in cui ho cambiato vita e deciso di trasformare le mie passioni, montagna, viaggi e fotografia, nella mia professione!
